Question on setup

Purchased the PBXact software having issues with placing calls with Zuiu.

  1. Calls don’t go through I configured the software with the SIPStation module if you make a call one of two things happen 1. It rings for 1 or 2 seconds and immediatley disconnects 2. It rings but you never get the other party. I even tried to call another IVR once and it just rang and rang.

  2. Another issue I have is sometimes you can place a call out on the WebRTC and I believe once or twice on Zulu but you never hear any audio from either party.

Logs will go a long way to helping you troubleshoot this. Start with /var/log/asterisk/full log file and see what the server thinks is happening. If the unit is still under warranty, you might want to fill out a ticket as well as posting here.

One thing that seems common between these two reports is audio problems. Have you checked the firewall to make sure that the required ports are redirected correctly and that all of the “VOIP Helpers” are turned off in your routers?
