Question on distinctive ring for Queue

Hello,

I have a question on tweaking my current setup. I currently have an IVR setup that allows dialing of each of our 7 internal extensions. I needed an option to allow calls that dial “0” from the IVR to ring all extensions until someone picks up the call. For this, I created a queue set to ringall with each internal extension listed in the static agents box. I was then able to connect “0” to the queue from within the IVR settings. It does work as intented (also also passes “GenDeliv” as a CID prefix which is nice), but I would really like to have a different ring for that scenario so that it is obvious when there is a general delivery call (above and beyond the CID prefix).

Can someone tell me how to do this?

System details: FreePBX v 2.10.1.9, 7960 phones. Thanks.

Are you sure those 7960’s support SIP alert-info messages? If not, then I do not know how you would ever send bellcore-dr4 or what have you.

Here are all the alert-info strings for Cisco 7940/7960 with firmware 7.0 or later:

Available ring tones by default

Bellcore-BusyVerify
Bellcore-Stutter
Bellcore-MsgWaiting
Bellcore-dr1
Bellcore-dr2
Bellcore-dr3
Bellcore-dr4
Bellcore-dr5

May work:

Bellcore-Inside
Bellcore-Outside
Bellcore-Busy
FBellcore-Alerting
FBellcore-BusyVerify
Bellcore-Stutter
Bellcore-MsgWaiting
Bellcore-Reorder
Bellcore-CallWaiting
Bellcore-Cw2
Bellcore-Cw3

Bellcore-Cw4
Bellcore-Hold
FBellcore-Confirmation
FBellcore-Permanent
Bellcore-Reminder
FBellcore-None
Bellcore-dr1
Bellcore-dr2
Bellcore-dr3
Bellcore-dr4
Bellcore-dr5

FCisco-ZipZip
Cisco-Zip
FCisco-BeepBonk

Thanks, gents. I simply added an alert info string (from the list above provided by SkykingOH) in the alert info box on the queue’s config page. It definitely does a double ring. Quick question, is it normal for all of the listed strings above to give the same distinctive ring? In other words, with each of the above strings, it gives the same double ring of your existing ringtone. Is that normal behavior? I was hoping to be able to add a completely different ringtone altogether. Is that possible? Thanks, guys and I really appreciate your expertise.

Make sure the format in freepbx looks like this:

<bellcore-dr3>
Square Brackets and lower case.
