PSTN to DID portability? Is this posible?

Hi,

I’m using PBX in a Flash Purple PIAF 2.0.6.2 FreePBX 2.10.1.2 Asterisk 1.8.13 and I 'm trying to find out IF this is possible:

  • keep business PSTN phone number (att) and port it to(as) DID number so the business uses same number(with multiple channels), but use the PBX in a flash system? I hope this makes sense…

The AT&t numbers should be portable. You will have to check with you new carrier if they can port your number. This is not a function of FreePBX at all.

You want to ask your new carrier for an LNP (Local Number Portability) port to your sip trunk. I do it all the time. Have never had a problem.
