"provisioning" phones?

I’m trying FreePBX 2.9.0.7.

My phone is an Aastra 9143i.

Is there a way to use the phone’s “Configuration Server Settings” to configure phones? I was hoping to be able to point the phone at the IP address of the FreePBX machine, and the FreePBX machine would use the MAC address of the phone to provide it with all the necessary settings.

Or do I have to manually configure all the phone’s settings.

Take a look at the End Point Manager. It is an additional module that you can install.
