Provisioning Error on End point Manager

Hello,

I’m new here - hi everyone.

I’m new to VOIP and I’m running into an issue with a Polycom Soundstation IP 5000 phone.

I couldn’t get it configured to connect to my FreePBX server, so I’ve installed the End Point Manager Module.

FreePBX 2.9.0.12
End Point Manager - 2.9.2.9

I followed the instructions to set up the module and get the firmware for the Polycom phone installed.

However, when I connect the Polycom phone, it throws an error saying.

Provisioning Error:
Failed to update configuration

I’ve tried setting the TFTP server to use the IP of the FreePBX server, but still no luck.

Is there a step I’m missing?

It might be worth while to factory default the unit and try again.
