Provision Polycoms

We don’t. This is just for on-site ext-to-ext communication

@BlazeStudios thanks for the query about the logs. The phone was trying to resolve the pbx by its hostname.

Does anyone know how I can edit the reg.1.server.1.address field using EPM?

Edit: It looks like setting the “Destination Address” to the PBX’s IP sets the reg.1.server.1.address field. Will have the users validate on Monday.

The provisioning setting isn’t looking for an FQDN is it?

Where’s that located on EPM? 4 years professional experience supporting FreePBX and this is the first time I’m having to use Sangoma EPM

It’s the Internal/External addresses but the real question is, what is in the phone? If it was a FQDN before and you turned off DNS, it won’t resolve the domain and pull the updates of the config.

Under “Simple Setup”, I had changed it from FQDN to IP. That change also needed to happen for Line 1 which I had overlooked because I believed I had modified reg.1.server.1.address in the Basefile to IP. Updating the Internal/External seems to have fixed it
