I have created an alarm monitor app in Node.js. It is working perfectly, but I would really like to have it send a call to a number with a system recording when the alarm is activated.
I have got ari-client up and running, but if the extension does not have a physical phone, I get an error: “Allocation Failed”. If I do have the call originate from an extension with a phone attached, it needs the receiver picked up before the call will happen, which is obviously not going to work in this case.
Can anyone give me some guidance in setting up an extension (virtual?) that I can send my request to and it will auto-dial a mobile number and play a system recording?
