Problem with Voicemail stuter tone

I have just upgraded to freepbx 2.2.0beta2 and everything seems to work fine except for voicemail. Whenever someone calls and leaves a message, I get a stuter tone notifying me that I have new voicemail. After i listen to it and delete it, i still get the stuter tone and it will not go away. Any advise?

There is a setting in the PAP2 to turn this off. This does not come
from Asterisk.

Does this device have a web login that allows you to set it up? On this picture you can see where the setting is on mine… http://voipspeak.net/images/stories/linksys/941a/web1_800.gif

There is a place that says message waiting and if it’s set to yes it will give you the voicemail tone even if there isn’t one. If you don’t have something like this then I’m not real sure what could be the problem.

What kind of phones are you using? I had this problem and it was because a setting in my phone was set to alert me that I had a voicemail. Clearing this setting took care of my problem.
