Problem with voice mail

I am having a strange problem with voice mail. I see when I am looking at the logs, and I press on the phone 2222, it shows as 22222222 in the logs. Then I receive the recording about incorrect password. If I press 22, it shows as 2222 in the logs, and it lets me check my voice mail.

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Any ideas on what I should try?
