Problem with Ring Groups and Outside Calls using #

We are trying to use Ring Groups and Cell Phone numbers in the Follow me of an extension. We found neither would dial unless we provided a suffix of #. When we do, that stops the process.
The follow me hunt list may be
RG1001#
RG1002#
13105551234#
13105551235#

We never get past the first ring group, the line just goes dead.

I found in some Asterisk documentation that we need to specify ‘from internal’ somehow. That documentation was for the scripts, and used the Dial command. Is there some variant that is necessary when configuring in the GUI?

I’m relatively new to this, but i think your issue is in the ‘RG’. I’ve never used that before, try doing it all under a single ring group instead of tying two of them together.
