Problem upgrading with module admin

Hi I am having problems upgrading some modules using module admin.

I have been trying to upgrade some modules for about 4 days now. Sometimes some of the modules will download and install but sometimes i get errors. Then the module is disabled pending an update.

Can anyone help?

it seems modules-2.2.xml is missing from the server.
