Problem upgrading FreePBX distro

I was trying to upgrade our FreePBX distro from 1.8.1.2 to the latest version so I can backup the settings and move to it to a new server. I had no problems updating to 1.8.1.3 and got all the way to 1.8.1.4-3.sh where I ran into problems. The module_admin reload hangs and I can not continue. If I restart amportal, I can get into the web page and it shows the apply configuration bar at top. If i click it, or try to manually run the reload, it hangs, and I can’t get back into the web page until I restart amportal again. PLEASE HELP as I want to get this moved to the other server ASAP.

Not saying this is the best answer, but here is what I would try:

  1. reboot see if that fixes it.

  2. upgrade all the way to the latest 2.9x
    upgrade-1.8.2.0-1
    upgrade-1.8.2.0-2
    upgrade-1.86.29.55-1
    upgrade-1.87.29.55-1
    upgrade-1.87.29.55-2

See if that helps to get passed where you are stuck. I would not recommend taking it to 2.10x that way you keep everything stable within the branch you were running.
