Problem Parking Calls

We are having difficulties getting call parking to work. All of our phones are Aastra 6757i phones. When we hit the park button you can here touch tones and then still hear the caller. We have found no way to get them into the parking lot.

The parking lot is setup and enabled with the extension of 70. It is setup for 5 slots.

Do we need to have physical/virtual extensions setup for the 5 slots before this works?

Any help/guidance will help.

I had something similar to his in the past and I think it had something to do with a DTMF setting in the cfg file. I don’t completely remenber as it was a long time ago but this might help.

If you have either of these in your cfg file try changing them and see if this affects your problem.

suppress dtmf playback:
display dtmf digits:

Take a look in the “General Settings” tab and make sure you have included the “tT” in both the inbound an outbound sections.

Can you park a call by transferring it to 70?
