I’m having a problem where I’m only allowed a single inbound or outbound call. Those calls work great, but once I try to make a second call, I get a message that all circuits are busy. I’m using a PRI that has 23 voice channels available. I have channels 1-23 set up in my zaptel.conf and zapata.conf files. I also have 23 for the maximum number of channels in my trunk configuration. Could anyone shed some light as to why I’m not allowed to make more than one phone call? What am I missing?
Ok, I already have that information in my zapata.conf file, and it’s in there as you specified. Neither of those lines are in my zaptel.conf file. Is that where my problem is? Should I add both of these lines (channel=>1-23 and group=1) to my zaptel.conf file?
Zaptel was wrong, zapata.conf is correct. Dial with ‘g1’ rather than ‘1’ in your outbound routes.

Taking a guess, you’re tryign to send calls out of channel 1, rather than a group. In your zaptel.conf, make sure that before the ‘channel=>1-23’ you have ‘group=1’ and use zap ‘g1’ to dial from, rather than just ‘1’
