Pressing Voice Mail Phone App button triggers failed attempt against apache-auth

Whenever I press my Voicemail Phone App button on my Yealink T23G, a failed attempt against apache-auth is triggered.

I keep receiving Fail2ban alerts for that:

The IP has just been banned by Fail2Ban after
6 attempts against apache-auth on freepbx-a.

I’m having the same issue with Aastra phones. Did you ever find a resolution?

Work around for now is to whitelist Phone Apps IPs/subnets in Intrusion Detection.
