Prepend to CI

Good day

I have a multisite PBX “network”…2 pbx are linked by IAX, and they can make internal calls using a prefix (9 and 91)

So, from the main site, calling the satellite site, we dial 91xxx

We have 2 division on the main site that is calling the remote one…

I know I can prepend text on the CID using the trunk… but, I want, for exemple to prepend: ODES for 5 extension and CORP to 10 others…

can it be possible?

Look at the Set-Caller-ID module. If you can route the calls through that on your way to wherever they are being sent, then you can do all kinds of hinky things to the CID.

I saw that module… but need to dial a feature code before, and cant do that

I don’t think so… There are lots of ways to use the module in addition to using it as a dialed destination.

If you can’t do it, you could go back through the list. There was a discussion about something very much like this a couple of weeks (maybe three) ago.

Hello,

You can configure a separate outbound call for every extension (based on caller id matching), and set the caller ID name there.

But, i want to change the CID only if they call a remote site that start with 9xxx…

for all the rest, I want to keep the same… possible?

Hello,

Yes, of course it is possible. You have 2 fields in the outbound route rules (destination and source).
