My SIP carrier wants 10 digits but some people dial 11 digits. In order to compensate this I put 11 digits in the dial match pattern - 1NXXXXXXXXX with a 1 in the prefix category. The system should see 11 digits, strip off the 1 and send 10 digits. Instead I get a your call can not be completed as dialed, the call does not show up in the CDR but if I dial 10 digits it works. Any ideas?

You want 10 digits in the match pattern field with a 1 in the prefix field.

I guess I’ve always misunderstood the outbound routes. I thought it looked at the match pattern then stripped off what was in the prefix and then sent the number. Thanks!

As you can see you are still sending
16168224220
If you accept 1NXXNXXXXXX and NXXNXXXXXX, you should best be mangling that in your trunk not your outbound route.
