Possible switch to FreePBX

Hi everyone,

As a project we are thinking of moving from Trixbox 2.6 to FreePBX, before I go away and install it I would like to know if it is possible to manually add a phone’s MAC address and then set it an extension similar to the way it is done in Trixbox as the automatic scan is not an option for us. It does not matter if an extra module or plug-in has to be installed, i would just like to know if its possible. Any help or advice is appreciated. if more info is required please let me know.

Yes FreePBX has a End Point Manager that can be installed as a add on module that will let you define the MAC and setup the phone.
