I have a Polycom 501 phone. I installed freepbx/CentOs6.5 on vmware and trying to configure the phone to work with it using google voice. I have 501 admin password but every time i make changes and restart the phone most of the changes revert back to original settings. Does anyone has any instructions on this? Your help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
That phone is really old, how are you programming it?
Suggest you you use the endpoint manager to create your config files, clear the phone out and set it to get it’s config fromt tftp.

You need to always tell us the complete version of FreePBX and if you installed from distro or tarball.
