Please Help- outbound calls made from another trunk?

I have 2 broadvoice accounts on one [email protected] box. All incoming calls take the trunk and route they are supposed to and all is good. Outbound calls however still use my original trunk and outbound route. I added a new outbound route and selected the “new” trunk only but everything still goes out with the caller id and info of the old trunk. How can I make the new number use a route or trunk for the new number?

FreePBX routes based on the outbound route rules. If they are the same, then it’ll use the first matching outbound route it finds. You need to make sure that the rules only point the the outbound route that uses the trunk you want.

Remember, you don’t need an outbound route for both trunks. You’re probably better off just deleting the old outbound route. :0
