PJSIP with dynamic IP address

I am in the process of moving from Chan_SIP to PJSIP. My PBX is behind a router with a dynamic IP address, I use Dynu DNS and have the appropriate host name in my SIP settings.

This has always worked fine with Chan_SIP but from memory of trying PJSIP in FreePBX 13 there were problems when the IP address changed. Is there anything I should be aware of (settings etc) when using a dynamic IP with PJSIP? is it compatible to this setup?

It takes a few minutes to sync up (based on DNS updates, usually) but it’s been working without complaint for quite a while.

If you are using a registered SIP trunk, turn down the registration time. The default is 3600 seconds.

Is that globally or on a trunk basis?
