Phone system connected with web application

Hi Guys,

I am not sure if this is the place I should be looking for my business requirement so any leads will be great.

I want to setup a phone system, which users call and enter a 3-4 digit number and hang up. The system upon receiving the call and the code sends this info to a web-based application with the calling phone number and the code.

Can you please let me know what do I need to implement this solution?

Are you looking for intelligence within the telephony app to “switch” based on the entered number, or does it all just go to one place.

what mechanism are you running the web app with (php xml etc etc…)
