Hi there, I’m using FreePBX 15.0.17.47.
Does anyone know if it is possible to have announcements by means of System Recordings without having to break out of the queue, go to an announcement and rejoin the queue (which will put the user back in line)? I know it’s possible to tell the callers position, but i’d like this to be a static notification.
The goto solution would be to record a custom system recording with embedded periodic announcements.
We use this way to achieve multi-language call-waiting for queues.
Seconded, you can just put the recordings in the MOH section and use that to cause periodic announcements.
