PBX and CDR Reports

We look after a PBX environment for a customer and they need some help with CDR Reports.

We need to see call duration per agent on the phone system.

Their current setup is that the main Incoming Route rings all extensions, then an agent answers from the RingAll group. We can see in the CDR Reports that the destination is the extension of the RingAll Group (600) and can see the call duration. We cannot see which extension actually answered the call however. If we click on the calls details we can see the full log of the call, we can see that the RingAll is dialled, then we can see which agent has answered the call and that the rest of the extensions have hung up and can see when the call was ended. So essentially we can see the call duration based on the answered time and hangup time in this log.

If we search for the actual extension in the CDR Reports as the destination then nothing is brought back. And if we search the caller number as the caller in CDR Reports it only reports the destination as being the RingAll group (600).

We need a way of doing a report for call duration per agent. Is this possible in FreePBX? Or is there an add-in that can do this for us?

Hi,

Send the calls to a queue rather to a ring group. It will be clearer with the CDR’s.

I have set up the queue with static agents and the CDR Reports now show the Extension as the Destination and the call duration. I have asked the user to let the data build up for a week and check the CDR report again to make sure that its working.
