We have a FreePBX system hosted off site in our data center I want to make it so I can pickup an extension and page over the PA. Can I setup a raspburry pi with a linux system and some type of script for this or would it make sense to setup another FreePBX system on the raspburry pi and just do a trunk to it and page out?

Its a sip support Loud speaker , they also have paging system that has an audio out put for your speakers. So can simply set on extension on the box and it will connect the audio through your speaker.
