As of about Wednesday of last week, all of our Outbound calls drop at exactly the 15 minutes mark. We’ve done a good amount of research and are now stuck, and would love any insight.
We are on FreePBX 16.0.45. We have verified all of our networking is fine, and have loosened it up a bit to assist while we troubleshoot.
Most of the troubleshooting we’ve found online says to start with session timers, which does not seem to exist anywhere in the config on this version. We can’t really find any settings referencing session timers, or 900 seconds.
Incoming calls are perfectly fine and we’ve confirmed work past 50 minutes.
Below is part of the packet capture showing that the BYE request seems to be originating from the carrier, not from our PBX. (Our PBX is .1.244, the phone used for testing is .6.113). Additionally, from viewing the UDP stream, the hangup reason is Q.850 cause 16, which is normal termination, which makes sense because it received a BYE request. We can’t figure out why the carrier is hanging up the call at exactly 15 minutes.
