I am new to freePBX and loving it so far, i setup some extensions (added CID), i set up a outgoing trunk (added CID) but when i call out it shows unknown or anonymous, can someone point me in the right direction.

The outbound CLID depends on your provider, if you need to check with them what is acceptable.
