I am trying to set up a ring group that rings two extensions (these are set up and working properly) and two PSTN cellphone numbers. I understand I have to add a “#” after a cellphone number in the ring group. When I call the ring group the cell phones do not receive a call. Do I have to set up an outbound route for these numbers?
The numbers have to match a dial pattern you configured in an outbound route.
Logs would say whats wrong here.
Thanks a lot for the tip. That is exactly what was going on. I looked through the logs, saw how FreePBX was trying to dial the cell numbers, then added the format to the dial plan. Thanks so much for the help.
