there was a mobule for previous version (2.3) that was called Outbound Extension Groups. Is there any way to use it with 2.5.1, or another module like that?

No, This module is not easy to get working… It generates some strange code, and is dependent on some dial plan logic. Search for a thread that I posted to in Feb.
Also, I had a long talk about this at the OTTS in March with Philippe, and it ended up that it was easier to use the [macro-dialout-trunk-predial-hook] call back with some custom code than getting the module to function for my needs.
Author is no longer active as far as I can tell…
