I can’t believe I couldn’t find a post about this somewhere out there, but as I haven’t (my own fault or otherwise) here goes:
I am running FPBX 2.8.0.4 on Asterisk 1.6.2.14 (64 bit).
For some ridiculous reason, I can’t get extension CID to pass through the trunk- no matter what I do I end up getting the trunk CID. (The idea is to let specific people send out their DID number on CID… the trunk CID is the generic main line to the facility.)
I haven’t ever run into this problem before- and I am simply perplexed! I have checked every setting (no routes/trunks forcing their CID) compared to the 32-bit version and it seriously looks identical… any ideas what I could be missing here?!
My one thought is that the trunk provider is preventing the CID from hitting the called party- BUT I AM THE PROVIDER! (For both boxes, both trunks set up identically.) Quite simply, one works, one doesn’t.
Any thoughts what-so-ever are appreciated, and I apologize in advance if there’s a glaringly obvious post on this same issue somewhere and I missed it.
