Outbound calls periodically stop working

Hello -

I’m having some issues with random extensions randomly becoming unable to make calls. They can receive calls and audio is working in both directions.

Rebooting the phone resolves the issue, but it seems to be temporary. I can find no patterns in terms of timing or specific phones.

Any feedback would be very helpful.

Clarification:

It seems like the phones are unregistering, but neither FreePBX nor the phone indicates as such.

Logs should give you a lot of information on this.

It will likely give the information, unfortunately not the resolution, rationally setting various SIP timers in routers/firewalls/phones and Asterisk so they are all co-sympatico is often the solution
