I cannot access the server at 22.214.171.124 from my office in Hickory, NC. I have contacted my service provider and they are having the same issue at their edge router. I contacted 800Hosting but they referred me to you. I have no problems reaching other sites from my system. The traceroute is posted below. Not sure how to resolve it…

Glenn, that ip responds to a ping from NZ. Also tracert 188.8.131.52 shows 19 hops from here. Get your provider on to it.

it’s up and I haven’t heard anyone else having problems. We’ve had some issues in recent times with the server but today all is well. Something must be up on your side.
is not 800Hosting. All traceroute STARTS at your provider (centurylink in my case) and ENDS at the host you are tracing, which is 800Hosting in this case. The traceroute dies at an 800Hosting router, and I have no firewall or problems getting to any other server on the internet.
My provider tried to access your server from their edge router and could not get a response. I will have them try again and get them to contact 800Hosting directly.
mirror.freepbx.org is hosted at 800Hosting. The fact that there is no other issue reported and that you can get that far would imply that there is something wrong on your end for some reason.
When I do a traceroute from my system the last thing I hit is:

and access the xml file fine (which is what checking for updates does). So all looks well from both sides.
your server is up and works fine. I can access it from other locations. I think there is a routing issue somewhere between your provider and the one I use in my Hickory NC location. I don’t have any problems accessing other sites from that location, just your update server. I am going to drop this on my provider and force them to resolve it. I’ll let you know what they find out.
