On FreePBX 17, after a successful call and hang up, successive calls to the same extension within 20 to 30 seconds of the successful call do not ring
Steps to reproduce the issue:
Make a successful answered call to an extension and hang up
Call the same extension within 20 to 30 seconds after successful call
On successive calls, the phone does not ring and the call ends up going to voicemail after the ring timeout. The default ring timeout is 20 seconds.
Phones are Yealink and include models T58W, T54W, T31P, T77P, etc. and it happens with all phones. It happens on calls directly to an extension, via a ring group, etc..
You need to provide some debugs of these calls that answer but a second calls makes them not answer. We can’t really say what the issue is based on the information provide so far.
I cannot reproduce this on my systems but I doubt most will be able to reproduce this.
Fixed it. In the Asterisk SIP Settings a local network subnet that had been added before disappeared (or was removed somehow) so a lot of the packets were routing through the router instead of staying local. Added that subnet back and it resolved the issue.
