Office365 and postfix mail conflict?

I’ve been fighting with mail problems for a few years now. Office365 got it working and it worked very well until now. Now FreePBX is unable to send email notifications again.

this is the message I get.

Where are you getting that from and what is your “postfix script” ?

That’s from admin>System Admin>Email Setup >> Debug.

Sadly, the article you sent is from 2017. MS has moved to Focused mailboxes in order to replace the “Clutter” function. It appears from this link that Focused can be turned off at the client side but not from the server side.

I have tested the steps in the link above to no avail.

As an observation, our FreeNAS server also uses MS Outlook online and that service runs flawlessly, could I suggest that Sangoma once and for all fix this damn issue.

Some would see this as a MS$ damn issue :wink:

That article and from my own experience is showing that the sending user doesn’t match a Office365 user. So do you have an asterisk email account at Office365?

I have switched to using Gmail and that’s been working flawlessly in the last 24 hours – that is, I’m getting regular notifications on the status of FreePBX server regularly.

I do not have an asterisk email account in Office365. Is that the reason it’s rejecting and not the other issues?
