Number portability indicator causing incoming call failure

I am working with trunking a freepbx to a genband c15 switch at a PSTN. Incoming calls fail due to added information in the incoming uri information. This information is in regards to the C15 switch tagging the call that a number portability check has been performed. Below is an error message showing an example of how the inbound number called is getting set up:

“Received an unknown call with DID set to 5559900;npdi=yes”) in new stack

;npdi=yes is causing the inbound number to not be recognized.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Nope but you can simply add that string to the end of your inbound route.

If that doesn’t work you will need to use Asterisk script to strip off the tag then pass the call back into the FreePBX dialplan.

There is a patch that just came out for the genband c15 which removes the added info going to a sip pbx.
