Not able to enable DPMA in Endpoint Manager Global Settings. Asterisk not restarting error

I just installed a clean install of FreePBX 15, updated all modules and system.

I am attempting to enable DPMA in the Global Settings of the Endpoint Manager. Each time it says it is restarting Asterisk to load the new DPMA module. It fails and says Asterisk is not restarting, Please check the logs or try fwconsole restart.

I am following the directions listed in the Wiki (wouldn’t let me post the link here)

I have uninstalled and removed the “Digium Phones Config” per the instructions.

What can I do to get this to enable? I need to set up some D80 phones on this install.

Not exactly sure what to look for in the logs. Do see some conf files that are not loading. Thought to ask before posting the whole log stream that happens when I attempt to enable DPMA.

May be try to restart the asterisk manually from the Freepbx linux cli and check the logs if asterisk is failing to restart. If asterisk is restarting successfully then go back to EPM to check/enable the DPMA.

If still you are not able to figure then as you are using Endpoint Manager commercial module so please open a commercial support ticket here!

I am unable to open a case unless I purchase the upgrade to the full Endpoint Manager or buy support time. I didn’t want to purchase those at this time. I just wanted to get the new Digium D80’s I purchased working with FreePBX like we have with our other deployments.

I can see the modules are loaded in Asterisk, I can Asterisk restart when attempting to enable DPMA in the Endpoint Manager General Settings. However, the GUI doesn’t detect that Asterisk restarts and won’t allow me to Submit the Global Setting so I can access the Endpoint-DPMA settings.

Anything I can try before I have to spend more on just getting the basics of this system to operate as expected?

if you purchased your D80’s from sangoma you should be able to register them and open a ticket up under digium phones.
