I installed FreePBX stable version 5.211.65-8 yesterday. The installation went smoothly except that after it reboots, it shows the motherboard splash screen (Asus P5GC-MX/1333), the OS selection screen (Schmooze 2.6.32-431.e16.i686), then the screen shows frozen static.
Is this likely a display driver issue? During the install I opted to replace the existing OS (XP, so an oldish box). The PC was built by as a clone by a local tech supplier. There’s a graphics card installed I haven’t opened it to check what it is. It worked fine during the install from CD, so would be surprised if the install couldn’t recognize it. I considered removing it and running off the motherboards graphics. Would this be the next step? Any advice would be much appreciated.
