No Firewall Module Disable

When doing distro version upgrades, one must disable a module to keep it from reinstalling itself when doing a version upgrade.

The Firewall module does not have a disable, only uninstall or remove, so when doing said upgrade, it always comes back. Already having a full gateway firewall, I have no need for a second firewall and don’t want it to come back and enable itself.

Is there a work around?

John

Firewall can be disabled when you browse to Connectivity, Firewall.

Thanks Igaertz. Next time it comes back, I’ll disable it there and see if it comes back on the next distro upgrade. And sorry, never looked there as never needed/wanted the firewall.

Wonder why they changed and put it there and not the norm of in the systems modules?
