Found 5134197203 - You probably want a DID for this.

I saw that and created a DID for it and the call went through. I tried to create a DID for another extension and it did not go through. Now that I am looking at it, the first extension did not have an endpoint attached to it. That must be it. So I’m gonna have to build out DIDs for all extensions then is what it seems to me. Is this something that is different from chansip? The DIDs that are here are all that was on the current production box and the calls make there way to where they need to get to on that machine. So I wonder why not on this machine.

No, you need an inbound route for everyone of your DID’s sip or pjsip , they can go to any endpoint you have defined, be that an extension, IVR queue or whatever.

I am not trying to say you are wrong, but this is all the inbound routes that are found on the current production system.

When I call a certain extension, the call will go to that extension. Is there a way for me to do this on the new server, or will I have to build out all inbound routes?

7300 or 7400 are unlikely to be useful DID’s unless you are using a TDM circuit, just add all your numbers like 5134197203 as inbound routes and send them to exten 7203., it’s easy.

You could maybe extend the from-did-direct context by cutting only the last four digits on a custom context you will send the trunk to but that will take you quite a lot of RTFM, so it’s not easy

Bulk Handler allows export and import of DIDs.
