No audio on calls to a TDM400 attached anlalogue handset?

Hi,

I hope someone can help with this odd problem.

I have a TDM400 card with an FXO port and an FXS port. The FSO port is connected to the PSTN and I can make and receive calls from a SIP 'phone.

The FXS port has an analogue handset attached to it. I can make calls from the handset to both internal SIP extensions and external numbers via the PSTN. Unfortunately, If I try to call the analogue handset from a SIP extension or from an external phone via the PSTN, it rings and answers when taken off-hook but it neither sends nor receives audio.

Any assistance gratefully received,
Regards,
Dave.

You might try DigAnTel. It will install Centos, Asterisk, FreePBX and auto config the TDM card for you.

Make sure echotraining is COMMENTED out in the fxo and fxs settings.
;echotraining=800

As soon As I switched off the echotraining it started to work,

Thanks for your help markwho.

Dave.
