When you say unplug…what do you mean? Power? Network?

Hi, Bill,

Whenever I unplug the power and/or network cable of the sip phone, the phone can not come back.

Depending model of the phone, some shows Unprovisioned, some shows “not registered”.

thanks . steve

How then, do you get them to reregister? Unprovisioned would seem to indicate that the phones are losing their programming. “Not Registered” or no service could indicate a number of issues including network problems, credentials in the phone that do not match the extension credentials on the server, or about a dozen other things.

You didn’t mention the type phones you are using or how you are provisioning them.

I got them to registered first. Then if suddenly, if I unplug any of the phones (different brand and different model), the ones get unplug will NOT be back again.

The cisco 7960 , showing “phone unprovisioned”, looks like it got IP (see above Log), and it downloaded something maybe (because the phone says “Mike”

the Grandstream GXP2000 and GXP2100 showing “not regestered”

So I would assume the problem is NOT phone specific.

steve

How are you provisioning the phones? I don’t have a lot of info on the Cisco Phones, but the GS phones are pretty foolproof.
