For those that have been watching, you would have seen a rapidly incrementing beta of the sysadmin module. I’ve just released it (12.0.19) and hoping no-one has any problems with it. If you have any strangeness, PLEASE don’t hesitate to yell here, or in IRC (preferred)… You can use the inbuilt IRC module, or, the webchatty one… https://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=freepbx
Received this error following the update. Renamed the old storage.php file and created a new symlink from the sysadmin module, reloaded the configuration and its gone away. Not sure if the new module needs a slight tweak or if this was something specific to my installation. Running latest Freepbx Distro 6.12.65-26.
retrieve_conf failed to sym link: /var/lib/asterisk/bin/storage.php from sysadmin/bin (Already exists, not a link) This can result in FATAL failures to your PBX. If the target file exists and not identical, the symlink will not occur and you should rename the target file to allow the automatic sym link to occur and remove this error, unless this is an intentional customization.
amportal chown should correct things like this. it cleans up old symlinks. Then “apply config” in your browser or amportal a reload will regenerate the proper links.
Thanks for the feedback. Should the instructions to rename the target file be changed to reflect your simpler solution?
