New Server, yum is broken?

I installed a brand new box and I get this error when I try to do a yum update

http://sng7.com/sng7/epel/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno -1] Error importing repomd.xml for sng-epel: Damaged repomd.xml file

Is there a quick fix for this?

yum clean all

tried that along with rm -rf /var/cache/yum

I still get the same errors.

It may be an issue with our web filter gateway. changed to another gateway and it started processing updates, but having issues with dependencies now. I’m going to reinstall from the iso again so it’s clean and use a non filtered gateway.

It was our webfilter gateway. not sure why it had an issue with this traffic, but you can close/delete this post.
