Hi, I just installed FreePBX on Ubuntu 12.04 following the instructions from http://wiki.freepbx.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1409028
In the Web interface in notices I get:
retrieve_conf failed to sym link: /etc/asterisk/rtp.conf from core/etc (Already exists, not a link)
I tried deleting /etc/asterisk/rtp.conf but I still get the error. Do I need to force a symlink? how would I do this?
Regards
Steve
Delete /etc/asterisk/rtp.conf. If the file comes back again check the symlink. It should point to …/core/etc/rtp.conf if it’s pointing somewhere else then perhaps you should think about updating the motif module and the sip settings modules
I deleted /etc/asterisk/rtp.conf and the file came back, the symlink is to /var/www/freepbx/admin/modules/core/etc/rtp.conf
and the error has gone, thank you.
