New Install - amportal reload Fails

Environment
Ubuntu server 12.04 (64 Bit) all updates applied
asterisk-11.3.0
Freepbx 2.11

Following the instructions provided at http://wiki.freepbx.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=1409028 - Installing Freepbx on Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin).

Everything appeared to work perfectly until the last step in the section “Restart Astrisk and install FreePBX” near the end of the procedure. I execute the line amportal a reload, which gives the following output:

root@archangel:~# amportal a reload

Fetching FreePBX settings with gen_amp_conf.php…

Error(s) have occured, the following is the retrieve_conf output:
exit: 20
found language dir fr for directory, not installed on system, skipping
Aborting reload because extension conflicts or bad destinations

Not sure how to proceed from here.

Thanks for your time.

William.

Went back and re-built asterisk, adding the French sounds to the build. That seems to have fixed the “found language …” error, but the reload still fails. When I was able to get the Web interface up, and applied the reload, it still failed, but there are more helpful error mesages available. It tells me:

retrieve_conf failed to sym link:
/etc/asterisk/cel_odbc.conf from cdr/etc (Already exists, not a link)
/etc/asterisk/cel.conf from cdr/etc (Already exists, not a link)
/etc/asterisk/confbridge.conf from conferences/etc (Already exists, not a link)

and

DEST STATUS: EMPTY
Parking Lot: default Lot (70)

I think this is the one that is causing the problem. The link ones acn be easily fixed.

Any suggestions as to how to fix the Dest Status will be most welcome.

Thanks for your time.

William.

Temporarily uninstall the “Parking Lot” module

Just configure your parking module and set a alternate destination.
