I use the Directory module instead of Phonebook Directory, for the first and last name dial, plus the reading of the greetings for matches instead of spelling. In an older version of FreePBX, on the extension page I had the option to include them in the Default Directory, which then added them to the dial by name Directory I’d set up. However, I’m not seeing that option anymore, so currently it looks like I have to add the extension, and then go separately into the Directory to add them there. Is there a way to do this from the extension that I’m missing, and/or a way to default new extensions into the Directory?
ETA: Whoops - I was missing it; it was under Advanced > Default Group Inclusion. However, the default appears to be exclude. Is it possible to change this to default to include when creating a new extension?
