Need instructions to set up passive tapping on analog lines -Sangoma B600

I am trying to set up passive tapping of 4 analog lines, using a Sangoma B600E card and tapping box. Installed FreePBX 14.0.3.13. Activated dahdi, and it sees the analog ports 1-4. I’m uncertain about where to go from here and can’t find any specific instructions about setting this up. In the Call Recording Module I see that I need to set up a destination, but this doesn’t make a great deal of sense to me since it’s a passive tap and the card isn’t routing the call. I set up the destination to Trunks, and created a separate trunk for each port, but that’s as far as I’ve been able to go. If I make a call in, nothing appears in var/spool/asterisk/monitor.

Where are you getting information that you can use FreePBX and a TDM card for passive tapping. Asterisk is a Back to Back User Agent so all the media flows through it. It’s not passive at all.

Full disclosure: I’m not a tech guy at all - just trying to find a tapping solution to record calls in my business. I’ve been working with a friend who’s trying to get me set up.

This info on the freepbx wiki here: https://wiki.freepbx.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=59933015 led us to believe that we could accomplish passive tapping.

And this https://www.slideshare.net/MoisesSilva6/asterisk-pripassiverecording and this http://www.sangoma.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/SangomaWebinar_CostEffectiveTappingandCallRecordingusingtheSangomaT116_April2013.pdf , though it’s not specific to B600.

Interestingly, this afternoon I discovered that a recording was accomplished with an incoming call. I haven’t yet been able to find out what was recorded because I can’t find a way to access the recording through the admin or UCP, so I have to get back on the server and get to the wav file.
