I have a ring group 600 that rings 4 extensions with “first available” ring strategy. If line 1 is busy and I call from an external number it jumps to line 2, etc… but if I call from an internal extension then the call goes straight to voice mail. I would like the ring group to work for both internal and external calls. E.g. call from office in New York to office in Montreal (both are internal extensions on the system) and currently that call goes to voice mail if the main line in Montreal is in use instead of going through the ring group.

I have a follow me group that rings 4 extensions with “first available” ring strategy and if line 1 is in use all calls go to voice mail. Does follow me only work if the line is available?
