Name not appearing on callers phone

Good Evening, We are having a bit of a stage issue, We have just setup a new FreePBX system and we are having a bit of an issue, (Multiple Phones) - We have a couple of Old mitel phones and we register them using End Point Manager - They have registered successfully and work for internal/external calls. but when the user picks the phone up and dials ext 2008 - It will not display the persons name on their handset where previously in the test environment it did - We have tried to copy setting like for like on to the production environment but no luck

Can anyone help me out

Thank you

Is anyone able to help me?

Confirm that in the Advanced settings for the extension, Send RPID is set to send the header that the phone is expecting. If you are sure this is correct, use pjsip logger (or sip debug if you are still using chan_sip) to see whether the correct header is being sent. This will show whether the problem is on the PBX end or at the phone.

I’m at a loss with this one

Can Anyone help with this issue?

Please share a full call trace with PJSIP debugging enabled via pastebin. The one above is missing the Asterisk logs.

Hi, Are you able to tell me how to do this?
Thanks,

asterisk -rvvvv
pjsip set logger on

“test2” is being sent. If that is correct, the phone doesn’t support this, or at least not with PAI. If not, what do you expect?

It used to come up on the callees phone as well if test 2 rang test3 it would come up test 3 on test 2s phone

Please use consistent names. In your latest log, Test1 called Test2. The callee has been given Test1 in two places, so really should have no problem.

Incidentally one reason people prefer pastebin is that you don’t have the forum garbling the logs, by not marking them up correctly.
