Should’ve given up on PBXiaf years ago, but have been eaking out several dozen boxes with various flavors of it to the point of exhaustion.
Is there a ‘go-to’ FAQ base for folks converting & installing FreePBX?

FreePBX Distro install wiki:

Today, I would install FreePBX 14 with Asterisk 16
Once installed, you can migrate the bulk of your settings using this script:

after migration, check into this thread for manual steps post migration: How to: Upgrade FreePBX13 to FreePBX14 on Hyper V - Guide
Many thanks for the fast response.
I’m curious - why FreePBX 14/A16 instead of FreePBX15/A16?
Just saying what I would do today.
again, why?
I’m not trying to pick a fight, but curious. is there an issue with FPBX15/A16 combination?
I don’t want to load up clients on a combination that’s going to back me/them into a corner in 6/9/18months.
FreePBX 15 went general release a few weeks ago so it’s a new product. 13 is not end of life yet, but nearing there. 14 is what I would setup today for a new system, others would use different versions and that is fine.
I see your concern now. That is a complaint for other distros. The FreePBX Distro always provides an upgrade path to current.
Thanks…
